Level 3.2 Guidelines
November 2021
Following the move into Level 3.2, Rototuna Optometrists will continue to follow guidelines and follow health and safety protocols.

Optical equipment is cleaned between each patient.

Frames that have been tried on are cleaned and sanitized

Dispensing tools are cleaned after every use

Daily cleaning of the practice
During alert level 3.2 we are open with restrictions in place which limits our examinations to those who cannot wait until level 2 is in place. Our opening hours have temporarily changed

If you have any vision concerns or your glasses have been damaged
please contact us to see how we can help you during LVL3.2
We are unable to do routine eye examinations during LVL3.2
(eg. you have received a recall or it's just time for a check)

If you have cold, flu or Covid19 symptoms, we ask that you stay home.

Level 3 Guidelines
October 2021
Following the announcement by the New Zealand Prime Minister that we have moved Hamilton into Level 3, Rototuna Optometrists will reinstate level 3 guidelines and follow health and safety protocols.
During alert level 3 we are unable to open for routine appointments and general retail.
APPOINTMENTS DURING LVL3
We are unable to do routine eye examinations during LVL3.
If you have any vision concerns or your glasses have been damaged, please contact us to see how we can help you during LVL3.
CONTACTLESS COLLECTIONS
We can arrange a contactless collection for your glasses, contact lenses or sundries & solutions
by appointment only.
Please follow our LVL3 contactless collection procedure:

Phone the practice from your car on arrival to let us know you have arrived.

Scan in via the QR code or manually sign in on entry

Wear a mask
If you have cold, flu or Covid19 symptoms, we ask that you stay home.

Level 2 Guidelines
September 2021
Following the announcement by the New Zealand Prime Minister that we have moved into Level 2, Rototuna Optometrists will reinstate physical distancing where possible and follow health and safety protocols.
During alert level 2 we require procedures to take place:

Scan the QR code or manually sign in on entry (incase of community transmission)

It is mandatory to wear a mask while instore

If you have cold, flu or covid symptoms, we ask that you reschedule your appointment

Only one person in the exam room (with the exception of one support person for children under 16 years
-
Hand sanitizer is provided in store
